Status of Offensive Coordinator Bruce Arains Uncertain

At first, Ken Laird of ESPN Radio 1250 Pittsburgh, announced on his radio show today that Bruce Arains has been fired, and if not, will be fired within the week.

Then, well known Pittsburgh beat sports writer has said that two of his sources have said that the ownership and new investors want Arians out. His third source has said that Arians himself started the rumor. The underlying problem is that once again the front office and the coaching staff does not see eye-to-eye.

However, the incumbent Arians has not been fired, and has never heard of anything of the matter.
